Black and White Kitchen

For a group of friends in South County of St. louis, Pupillo Home Improvement is THE go-to company for outstanding remodels.  John Pupillo requested Kitchen Liberty for design and product fulfillment.  This client had a very clear sense of the final project in her mind from years of time in high-end kitchens.  One bedroom was adopted into the kitchen to create a 22′ x 17′ entertaining masterpiece.  Our clients are avid sports fans and dependably hospitable, so the new kitchen hosts Mizzou football and Cardinals baseball gatherings.

We had to act fast to keep up with this energetic client: she found the floor tile, wall tile, paint color, artwork, handles, accessories, pendant lights and stools herself!  Features include: 2nd oven in the island, Xenon under cabinet lights, desk with hanging file drawers, full extension drawers and sliding shelves, lazy susan & tray base combo unit, farm sink, blending white over-the-counter microwave, glass front cabinets beside the hood and curved 2-level breakfast/sports bar. The counters are manufactured stone – the installers took pictures of our steel supports to show other companies how to do it right! Special thanks to Randy with PHI who kept this job moving at a great clip!

Weidman His and Hers

Kitchen Liberty and Pupillo Home Improvement doubled the size of this master bath focused on cherry wood and a calm, neutral palette.  A luxurious day begins with the german engineered shower fixture, and ends in the tub surrounded by granite and cherry wainscot.

The starting point – THIS:

Former bathroom and bedroom walls.  Now bathroom door opens directly into bedroom.

Changed door position and expanded bath:

His and Hers vanity with beautiful extra tall crown.

Toilet nook and linen pantry.

California Style Kitchen

Mid-Century Modern Transformation

This 1955 home overlooks Sugar Creek in Kirkwood.  Unfortunately, the best views were hidden from the kitchen.  There was also a traffic problem where hallway met basement stair.  Kitchen Liberty borrowed space from a closet to expand this passage.  The luxury vinyl floor in rustic maple style and the hickory cabinets evoke a 1955 lodge with up-to-date technology.

 Before:  Original 1955 Cabinets

The new 4 feet x 7 feet pantry is 1 foot deep.

Getting curvy and opening up some traffic flow, compliments of these custom made base cabinets.

Appliance garage hides your favorite gadgets.

With custom designed backsplash installed.  Added window to open up space to living room.

Ellisville Bath

This project was referred to Kitchen Liberty by the amazing Ann Aranda of Keller Williams Realty.  Planning to stay long term, this couple treated themselves to a Scandinavian-style private bath.  Most of the room is simple and masculine, but there are feminine details to soften and warm their daily experience.  Spa-like and spacious, this bath invites relaxation.

Ladue Addition

Thanks to Keith Johnson of Johnson Interior Improvements who brought in Kitchen Liberty to consult on this charming Ladue cottage.  About half the square footage was original and the other half was added.  An architect did the hard part of the design, but we did the fun part:  cabinet arrangement and styling, granite selection and layout, and a few changed positions to create a “step-in pantry” feature.  The glorious island seats 8 and includes a 2nd oven.  The wet bar has 2-drawer dishwasher.

Before:  Outdated and needin’ some love!!

“Original Treasure” granite.  Full height backsplash.
