Blocks of Color

These clients have a beautiful, up to date home, but had left this room as their final project.  It was important for us to create a current look, but they requested neutral tones that would allow for color changes with fabrics, towels, etc over time.

We were able to achieve a lot of drama with the dark cabinetry while maintaining a neutral color palette.  The oiled bronze handles blend so quietly with the cabinetry that you are drawn in to the transitional styling details on the woodwork. The faucets bring a feminine contrast to the mostly masculine shapes throughout the room.  Their sculptural form is reminiscent of the “Falling Man” series by Ernest Trova.  Installation by Pupillo Home Improvement.

When I (Jennifer) first saw this tile pattern installed I freaked.  One of my absolute favorites!!

Before:  Uh, no.

Forgive the low-res images.  These last two pics were taken with my phone when I delivered the custom fabric upholstered seat cushion to the job site.

Enjoy your luxurious new bathroom, beloved clients!!!
